Where to stay

Burgas on its own has far fewer beds than the week will need, so most visitors will stay somewhere along the bay. Rough distances to the city:

• Burgas centre: about 3 km from the arena
• Sarafovo, on the airport side: about 10 km
• Pomorie: about 20 km
• Chernomorets: about 24 km
• Sozopol: about 35 km
• Nessebar and Sveti Vlas: about 35 km and a little more, 40–50 minutes by car

Why Sozopol

Sozopol is the oldest town on this coast: timber houses on a rocky peninsula, a fishing harbour and beaches on both sides. In mid-May it is quiet and unhurried, which makes it a good base if you want a few days by the sea around the shows.

Getting from Sozopol to Burgas

• By car: about 35 km along the coast road.
• By bus: regular daytime buses run to Burgas South bus station.
• After the shows: the live shows end after midnight local time, when regular buses have stopped. Arrange a hire car, a transfer or a shared taxi in advance. Official shuttles have not been announced.
• From the airport: Burgas Airport is on the north side of the city, roughly 45 km from Sozopol.

Dream BG is a family-run business. Our Sozopol apartments are in the Santa Marina holiday village, about 2 km from the old town, in a complex with pools and gardens. Each has an equipped kitchen, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, and most have a balcony or terrace. We also have apartments in Nessebar and Sveti Vlas.
